Installation Guide
Follow these simple steps to manually install BrowsePing extension
Prerequisites
Download ZIP File
Download the BrowsePing ZIP file from above
Extract Files
Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer
Locate manifest.json
Ensure the manifest.json file is in the root directory
Select Your Browser
Installation Steps for Chrome
Open Extensions Page
Navigate to chrome://extensions/
Copy and paste the URL in your browser address bar
Enable Developer Mode
Turn on "Developer mode" toggle
Look for the toggle switch usually at the top-right corner
Load Unpacked Extension
Click "Load unpacked" button
This button appears after enabling developer mode
Select Extension Folder
Choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json
Navigate to where you extracted the ZIP file
Pin the Extension
Click the puzzle piece icon and pin BrowsePing
This makes the extension easily accessible in your toolbar
Installation Complete!
